The Lake District Pianist, Craig Smith, is one of the UK’s leading wedding and event pianists. He played his first professional wedding booking at just 16, over 20 years ago, and is recommended by venues up and down the country as well as the Lakes. He lives just south of the Lake District National Park and is a go-to for events music at many of Cumbria's beautiful inns, hotels, restaurants and wedding venues.

A vastly experienced full-time professional, Craig worked as a session musician playing with and recording for several platinum selling artists and chart-toppers until family life (Craig is husband to Lauren, and dad to four boys) led to the decision to move away from regular touring into events a few years ago. After 20 or so years of almost daily playing, The Lake District Pianist's repertoire now extends to 1000s of songs and he is renowned for his unrivalled ability to entertain guests by taking their requests - even if he's never heard the song before!
