Wedding Music at Hidden River Barn

The day typically begins with guests arriving to the barn, where live piano helps create an immediate sense of atmosphere. Ceremonies are held upstairs in a light and airy ceremony space, where the venue’s baby grand piano provides a perfect opportunity to introduce both live music and an elegant focal point in your wedding, while guests take their seats and the entrance approaches.

While the venue’s baby grand piano on the mezzanine is ideal for ceremonies and drinks receptions upstairs, for live music downstairs, there is no substitute for a second piano. Sound from upstairs does not carry effectively into the main barn, and routing the piano through the venue’s speaker system does not deliver the same quality or presence as a second instrument. For this reason, a two-piano setup ensures continuous, high-quality live music throughout the day without compromise.

Craig's portable baby grand pianos — available in your choice of white or gloss black — are easily set up downstairs for drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts; best positioned by the main doors for a balanced tone throughout the barn, they can also be quickly moved outside for drinks receptions on the riverside deck or at the front or side of the barn, as seen in the videos below.
